Jeff Garcia
Rumor has it he's being shopped around. Gruden appears to be the stop-gap. I'll keep you posted.
Free Agent Focus Week #2
Here are some possible F/A's that may help your team out for week #2.
QB: Kerry Collins (Tenn) vs. Bengals: You probably don't need a QB this early in the season. BUT if you do this week #2 match-up might be a good idea. The Bengals had 0 sacks against the vaunted "O" line of Baltimore & they gave up 129 passing yds. as well as 229 rushing yds. If I needed a QB, Collins would be my pick.
RB: Andre Hall (Den) vs. Chargers: Slim pickings here. Hall led the Bronco's in touches and yards last week. (10 carries - 61 yds.) not great. But I think he may be in for a pretty decent year. Nice player to stash away if you can.
WR: David Patten: With Colston down & out for a few weeks. This is probably a safe bet.
TE: Anthony Fasano: OK, probably not on your FA list anymore. Another great pick up for the rest of the year.
Def/ST: Buffalo Bills. Week #1 they looked good...real good.
K: Do you really care? ok, ok we don't discriminate. Matt Prater (Den).

Shaun Alexander
I think he is way too talented to be sitting at home playing Madden. I haven't seen any news about possible teams.
I did read that he was in the best shape of his life, well rested and ready to go. It would be a great waiver p/u. I'm sure he's available, and with bye-weeks coming up you could be probably drop your back-up. I'm thinking about doing just that.

Marques Colston
This to me is bizarre. No reports at all about him being hurt and then BANG out 4-6 weeks. This is huge to people who drafted him. Most sites are down playing it assuring you that this won't affect Drew Brees too much...Ha!
Man, the first year I get him and he's out.
Hurry up and get back my man.
